Shaman Master of All Elements
Build Overview
The Shaman is a two-tier caster build for No Rest for the Wicked that teaches advanced status effects, focus/health regen, and elemental rotation through accessible gear while scaling into an endgame one-shot machine. The Entry Shaman (Masterworks gear) is forgiving and foundational, letting new players dominate Crucible and Pestilence Zones while learning when to freeze, burn, or shock. The Min-Max Plagued version uses optimized Plagued weapons/armor for elemental overload, guaranteeing critical strikes and boss deletion across Crucible to Corruption 10.
This is a framework, a set of guidelines - you can choose any combination of elemental runes available to you. Just make sure that you pick one element as your main element and the rest should be focused on low-cost elemental options that proc advanced status effects. In this build lightning is our main element, fire and plague as modifiers, and frost is our lowest cost element that is always available to proc shatter or provided CC in a pinch.

Min-Max Plagued: Commit to your chosen element's synergies (Spherin for magical focus), trigger passive Static Inferno (Fire+Lightning Overload) to pulse damage on nearby enemies, and chain Infinite Frost Stream into safe control loops that turn chaotic fights into predictable slaughters. Both versions emphasize elemental identity over spamming, making the Shaman system-driven and patch-proof.

- Dual Loadouts: Entry uses accessible Masterworks armor/weapons for forgiving play; Min-Max swaps to Plagued gear that amplifies one element + guarantees crits for one-shot potential.
- Three Locked Techs:
- Infinite Frost Stream: Permanent Frost uptime for continuous slow/freeze pressure, turning Ice into baseline control that stabilizes every fight.
- Infinite Dodge: Near-endless iframes and mobility, solving caster survivability so you reposition freely while channeling.
- Static Inferno: Fire+Lightning synergy creates passive Overload pulses on nearby enemies—no casting needed once active, making you a walking hazard zone.
- Elemental Roles: Fire (crits/modifiers), Ice (control/setup), Lightning (primary damage), Plague (boosts)—rotation creates overload, not single-element spam.
- Shaman Identity: Stronger than pure mages due to focus/health regen, advanced statuses, and future-proof design that works on white gear and thrives in heavy endgame.
